Physical Science
What is Physical Science?
Physics comes from the term physica which means natural things,
physics a high school course is focused on matter, energy, and forces of
natural
In physical science, we study the nonliving systems of the world, this is
such a broad topic because it covers physics chemistry, astronomy, and
material science
Physical sciences are those academic disciplines that aim to uncover the
underlying laws of nature – often written in the language of
mathematics
Surely we all have asked ourselves questions like
Q) Why don’t oil and water mix?
Q) Why do I still move forward when someone hits the brakes?
Q) Where does the white light on the stage come from? where all I see
are colored lights
Physical science research helps us uncover the mysteries behind all
these questions
The physical sciences were born out of a response to mystical and mythical
beliefs in the natural world. The first physical scientists were able to explain
natural phenomena by observing their physical properties and repetition in the
environment.
The creation of the physical sciences also led to the use of the scientific
method. Physical scientists observe natural processes; they form hypotheses
and continue to observe processes until a hypothesis is upheld or disproved
under those conditions.
