Islamic way to take a Bath

The complete procedure for bathing is as follows:

1- He should sincerely intend to be cleansed from janabah, menstruation or nifaas.

2- Recite Bismillah, wash your hands and clean your private parts from dirt.

3- Perform complete ablution like prayers.

And instead of wiping, pour water on your head three times and rub the hair until the water reaches the roots of the hair.

5- In order to pour water all over your body, first pour water on the right side of your body, then on the left side, and in the meanwhile touch the body with both your hands so that water can reach everywhere.

The evidence for performing ghusl in this manner is as follows:

It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform ghusl janabah, he should first wash both his hands and then perform complete ablution like prayer, then do ghusl and comb his hair with his fingers. When you think that you have wet your skin, you should pour water on your body three times and wash your whole body. "

  Bukhari: (248) Muslim: (316)

Similarly, Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: “When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform ghusl janabat, he would ask for a jug of milk as big as a bucket of milk. He would throw it and then grab it with both his hands and put it on his head. "

Then after finishing the ghusl, wash both the feet a little away from the place of ghusl.

 Bukhari: (257), Muslim: (318)
